The idea behind Bream was to create an online second-hand bookstore that offers buyers affordable books in excellent condition. The client had a clear vision for the brand, which made collaboration smooth and focused.
After reviewing ideas for illustrations, colors, and fonts, I started by creating a mood board inspired by traditional bookstores and Bream’s unique selling point. From there, I developed a cohesive wordmark and pictorial logo that work well together and independently.
Bream’s ethos is summed up in its motto: Reuse, Reduce, Read.
